With their latest album Heirlooms (May 6, 2022), Liv Cazzola and Braden Phelan issue a call for deeper connection with each other and with the natural world.
The answer to this call is reflected both in the collaborative creation process and the meaningful ways in which Heirlooms is being shared. Setting these intentions rooted them and provided the insight needed to nourish the project and create something lasting.
"We want Heirlooms to encourage listeners to question their individual choices and reconsider the experiences of others in their communities, provoking critical thought rather than merely expressing our opinions. In order to encourage this in others, we must do so ourselves."
Heirlooms is an opportunity to reconnect, share stories and learn.

Inspired by the last track on our latest album "Heirlooms", we hope our postcard helps connect you with someone you love. To accompany your message, each postcard contains a QR code for a free download of our song, "I Hope This Finds You Well".

We collaborated with local soap maker Carly Klaassen of The Sage Soap Company to craft this Heirlooms Herbal Soap. The herbs used in this soap are the same as those in our Every Morning Tea Blend, which was crafted in collaboration with Naomi Woodward of Moonstar Herbalism.
Soap Ingredients: Saponified oils of organic coconut oil, olive oil and grapeseed oil, calendula, tulsi, colloidal oatmeal, thyme and lavender essential oils
The Every Morning Blend is an herbal loose leaf tea crafted with local herbalist Naomi Woodward of Moonstar Herbalism. The tea is intended to pair with the album listening experience - just as a wine would be paired with a meal. The herbs in this tea are the same as those used in our Heirlooms Herbal Soap, which was crafted in collaboration with Carly Klaassen of The Sage Soap Company.
Tea ingredients: oat straw, calendula, tulsi, lavender, thyme
Packaging is backyard compostable.
Making the meals that made the album.
Before each string of recording sessions, Liv and Braden prepped healthy and delicious vegetarian meals for their collaborators. This cookbook is a compilation of all those recipes.

Pour some tea, draw a bath, turn on your stereo: we invite you to spend time caring for yourself. We crafted the soap and tea with Moonstar Herbals and The Sage Soap Co. specifically to pair with the album listening experience. We hope this care package will give you an opportunity to listen deeply to the music, and inhabit the feelings it brings forward within yourself.
Package includes: Heirlooms CD, Tea, Soap and album download
We love spending time in the kitchen, drinking tea and listening to music while we make a meal. We hope this package will help you do the same! We wrote the cookbook to compile and share the recipes for the tasty and nourishing meals we prepared for our amazing team in the recording studio. The tea was crafted by Moonstar Herbal Blends, specifically to pair with the Heirlooms listening experience.
